REFUND POLICY

At Bruce R Gilbert MD PhD PC, dba New York Cryo, dba The Men’s Fertility Laboratory, we value transparency and fairness in all billing processes. Please review our refund guidelines below.

Refunds for Website Authorizations

If you book through our website, your card isĀ not chargedĀ at the time of booking. An authorization hold is placed and is captured only after services are provided.

If you cancel within the allowed cancellation window:

  • The authorization hold isĀ voided,
  • No chargesĀ are posted to your card,
  • No refundĀ is necessary.

Refunds for Direct Authorize.net Payments

Patients who pay using aĀ direct Authorize.net payment linkĀ will beĀ charged immediately.

If you cancelĀ after payment has been processed, aĀ $75 cancellation feeĀ will apply, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed withinĀ 3–7 business days, although your card issuer may take additional time to release funds.

Services Already Rendered

Refunds cannot be issued for:

  • Completed consultations
  • Completed laboratory procedures
  • Completed specimen handling or cryopreservation work
  • Missed or partially missed appointments

Once services are performed, the associated fees are nonrefundable.

Duplicate Payments or Billing Errors

If you believe a duplicate charge or billing error occurred, please contact us immediately atĀ 516-487-2700Ā orĀ billing@nycryo.com.

We will investigate and issue a correction promptly.

Disputes and Chargebacks

To avoid delays or misunderstandings, please contact our office before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer.
We are committed to resolving any concerns quickly and professionally.

BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT

To reserve your appointment time, a payment authorization is placed on your card at booking. Your appointment will remain in ā€œPendingā€ status until our team reviews and confirms it. Once approved, you will receive an email confirmation.
If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible. Appointments canceledĀ at least 24 hours in advanceĀ for Tuesday–Friday visits, orĀ at least 72 hours in advanceĀ for Monday visits, will not incur any cancellation fees. If a cancellation occurs after these windows—or if you do not attend your appointment—aĀ $75 late-cancellation/no-show feeĀ may be charged.
No medical information is shared with your payment provider, and all payment information is handled in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner.
